Please join us at a free-to-attend event to find out the winners of this year’s AJ Student Prize this Thursday [12 October 2023]

Earlier this year, the Architects’ Journal invited tutors at all ARB and RIBA-accredited architecture courses at UK-based schools to enter their top students for the AJ Student Prize 2023. Schools were invited to submit a final-year project from two students – one at undergraduate level and one at postgraduate level – with an additional sustainability category celebrating standout projects that address environmental concerns.

A panel of distinguished judges will soon decide the winners of this year’s prize for the best work in the undergraduate, postgraduate and sustainability categories. These winners will be announced at our prize-giving event tonight (Thursday 12 October 2023) at 150 Holborn.

The judging panel includes returning judge Ed Fowles of Feilden Fowles, Betty Owoo of Be First and Rachel Hoolahan, sustainability co-ordinator at Orms.

This free-to-enter prize is a great platform to celebrate and support the work of both architecture students and universities across the UK as the new generation of architects emerges. The full list of nominees is being released in the AJ and on the website next Thursday (21 September 2023).

The AJ Student Prize is sponsored by Marley. Perkins & Will are kindly hosting us at their offices at 150 Holborn and will be offering opportunities to tour its new building during the evening.
